A woman holding a newborn baby after birth in a hospital.

Labour and birth don’t happen in isolation. They are part of a much larger transition—into parenthood, into a new family rhythm, into a body and life that will not look the same as before. Support is for the whole journey...before, during, and after birth...because families deserve care at every stage.

Growing Together’s labour and birth support is full-spectrum by design. Every family receives thoughtful prenatal preparation, continuous labour and birth support, and postpartum care. Each package includes meaningful, hands on support; the difference between options reflects the level of ongoing care—particularly during the often overlooked postpartum period.

Birth is not just a moment — it’s a transition.

What Birth Support Looks Like

Birth support isn’t about taking over — it’s about walking alongside you, steady and present, through one of the most transformative days of your life.

Emotional & Continuous Support

  • Reassurance, encouragement, and steady support through intensity and uncertainty

  • Holding space for fear, excitement, vulnerability, and everything in between

Advocacy & Informed Choice

Partner & Family Support

  • Guidance and reassurance for partners so they feel confident and included

  • Helping partners find their role and rest when needed

  • Care that supports the whole family dynamic, not just the birthing person

Physical Comfort Measures

  • Hands-on comfort support (positioning, movement, breathing, touch, counter-pressure, eating/drinking reminders)

  • Suggestions for coping strategies as labour changes

  • Creating a supportive environment that feels safe and familiar

Continuity of Care

Why Prenatal Education is included in every Birth Package.

Informed families feel more confident and supported during birth. Prenatal education provides the knowledge, tools, and shared language that help families make informed choices, communicate with their care team, and approach labour and postpartum with greater ease.

Why Postpartum Support is included in every Birth Package.

Birth is only the beginning; the journey of becoming a family continues long after your baby arrives.

The hours and days following birth are often tender, emotional, and physically demanding. Having support during this time can make a significant difference in how families recover, bond, and process their experience.

Including postpartum care in every birth package reflects a core belief: postpartum support is essential, not optional.
